Arriving for your massage

 

Please arrive 10 minutes  before your appointment.  This will allow sufficient time to complete the appropriate paperwork and to discuss your requirements with me if required.

 

Cancellation

 

​At Massage and Body Therapy I understand that events may occur and you may have to cancel an appointment.  However, providing me with at least 24 hrs notice I can try and fill your slot.  If you fail to cancel with 24 hrs notice twice or more times, you will be asked to pre-pay for further appointments.

 

Late Arrivals

 

Please be aware that there may be another client booked in after you.  I regret that I cannot extend your allocated time with me if you are late for your appointment.  Full fee will still apply.  A phone call is always appreciated if you think you may be running late.

 

No Show

 

Clients failing to show up for their appointment may be asked to pre-pay for further appointments.  You may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of your session cost and may be sent an invoice if you haven't already made payment.

 

Gift Certificates

 

If a gift certificate is being used a payment for your treatment and you fail to give a full 24 hr notice, the gift certificate will become null and void.

 

Your gift certificate must be presented at the start of your treatment.  Please check the expiry date on your certificate.  

 

Existing and new medical conditions

 

The client is responsible for notifying the therapist of any medical conditions (new or old), medications and ongoing treatments.  I may require written permission from your doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist etc. 

 

Professional boundaries

 

I offer a safe, nurturing, nonjudgemental, non-sexual service.  Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind is never appropriate and will not be tolerated.  The client will be asked to leave immediately and full payment still be taken.  No future appointment will be taken.

 

Home Visits

 

Normal cancellation policy applies. If you are not home when I arrive, I will wait 10 minutes before leaving and you will be charged the full amount.  Any further appoints will require up-front payments.  

 

If arrive and you are not ready to start you massage your session time may be shortened as I may have other appointments scheduled after yours.
