Yes, please give a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel an appointment. If notice is not given you will be charged the full fee for the appointment time missed.
you accept walk-ins or short notice appointments?

No, all treatments are by appointment only.

What should I expect on my first visit?
You will be handed a short intake form to be fill out. This paperwork will help me assist you when deciding what type of massage you may need. After completion of the paperwork you will be lead to a room where I will talk with you about the type of massage you are looking for.  The paperwork and personal details are strictly confidential.

Share with me whether you are looking for a general stress-reduction massage, or whether you are seeking help with a specific problem such as neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, or hand or arm pain. All these conditions can be effectively treated with massage therapy.

Next, you will be given privacy to undress down to your underwear and lie comfortably on the table with towel or blanket covering you. Remember, you will be covered at all times. Modesty will be maintained at all times during your massage session.

Depth is the term massage therapists use to describe how much pressure they use during the massage session. Some people prefer lighter massage, where the strokes are flowing and easy. Others prefer deeper work where the muscles are checked for trigger points and tightness. Usually, the deeper the massage, the more discomfort you’ll experience, but a deeper massage offers greater potential to reduce many of the chronic pain patterns and muscle spasms that build up over time.

Please let me know during the massage if the pressure needs to be deeper or lighter. Never endure a massage that is too deep or is painful. You will never offend me by asking me to go lighter.

By the end of your massage you should feel very relaxed. You might feel a little sleepy. Your body will probably feel as though you’ve worked out. And in a sense, you have! Don’t rush to get up,  You will be given privacy to dress. take it slowly and I recommend that you drink plenty of water for the next couple of days.

You should feel better immediately after your first massage. But in most cases, benefits are cumulative – your health and well-being will continue to improve with each massage.  Some of you may feel like you have done a light workout, depending on the type of treatment you have received.
